1. Agreeing to these terms
Makeup Your Way (“the Service”) is operated from the United States. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. What the Service is — and isn't
The Service provides general cosmetic guidance: makeup placement ideas and product-type suggestions generated from your face shape, the age you provide, and an on-device estimate of your complexion. All guidance is informational and for personal enjoyment only. It is a starting point, not a promise: makeup application is personal and subjective, and we make no guarantee that any suggestion will produce results you like. The Service does not provide medical, dermatological, or professional cosmetology advice, and nothing in it should be treated as such.
3. Skin safety
Product suggestions name general product types (for example, “a cream blush”), never specific brands or formulas. You are responsible for choosing products that are safe for your own skin. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, patch-test new products, and stop using any product that causes irritation. Concerns about your skin belong with a qualified professional, not an app.
4. Estimates can be wrong
Face-shape and complexion results are automated estimates. Lighting, camera quality, and photo angle all affect them — that's why the Service shows a lighting disclaimer and lets you manually correct your skin depth and undertone. You accept that estimates may be inaccurate and that you use the resulting guidance at your own discretion.
5. Age requirements and minors
You must be at least 13 to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and any purchase must be made or approved by them. Guidance is general-purpose cosmetic information and is not tailored advice for minors; parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of the Service and any products they choose to apply.
6. Purchases and refunds
The Service offers a one-time paid unlock that provides access to the full routine, unlimited rescans, and saved results. The unlock is a digital product delivered instantly and in full the moment your payment succeeds — by purchasing, you acknowledge that you receive immediate access to everything the unlock includes. All purchases are final. We do not offer a general refund policy; we may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund on a case-by-case basis. If you are unhappy with a purchase, contact support@yourway.makeup before disputing a charge with your card issuer — most concerns are resolved faster that way, and you agree to give us that opportunity first. If a purchase is refunded through any channel, the associated premium access is revoked.
7. The Service is provided as-is
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Makeup Your Way and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including dissatisfaction with makeup results, product purchases you make based on suggestions, or reactions to products you choose to use. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which is zero for free accounts). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Your account
You're responsible for your account and keeping its credentials private. You may delete your account at any time from the account page, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or violate these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the Service evolves; the “last updated” date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law and contact
